About Our School

Frostproof Middle-Senior High School, home of the Bulldogs, prides itself on tradition and a deep sense of community.

Frostproof Middle-Senior High School is located in the city of Frostproof, a rural Polk County community of approximately 3,200 permanent residents.  It serves approximately 1,100 students in grades 6-12.  Consequently, the educational program directly impacts students for seven years rather than four as in most high schools.  While many would consider our relatively small student body, high transitory population, wide diversity of ethnic cultures, and ability levels a liability, our enthusiastic and dedicated staff chooses to look upon these as advantages in that we are able to respond and adapt to change much quicker than our larger counterparts.
